‘Architectural forms’ originated from a study into the role of perfectionism in designers. How do you use perfectionism as a tool instead of a “limitation”? And how do you find freedom within the character trait? By designing a method I created two large illustrations where I gave free reign to perfectionism and searched for perfection in flaws. A challenging and fun research which gave a few insights within the character trait. It will always be a blessing and a curse as it keeps you focussed and delivers the best you possibly can, but also holds you captive in a neverending search for perfection.
